In the Basic Court in Niksic, on July 24, 2015 a preliminary hearing was held after ten workers of Ironworks “Tosçelik Niksic Alloyed Engineering Steel” initiated a lawsuit to examine the legality of the decision on termination of employment, with a request that the employer returns them to work and provides jobs that correspond to their level of education, knowledge and skills.
Attorneys of dismissed workers of Ironworks “Tosçelik” were from our Law Office – Tijana Zivkovic and Nikola Terzic.
Judge Sanja Nikic, on July 31st, 2015 issued a Decision ordering interim measure – paying the wage compensation to the workers who were laid off, and who are employed by the defendant, on the basis of their employment agreement for an indefinite period. The defentant is obliged to pay the wages for the period it passed a Decision on termination of employment (May 6th, 2015) onwards, until the final completion of the civil procedure, under threat of legal consequences.
